Bangarra Rekindling Program

Dusseldorp Forum is supporting Bangarra’s Rekindling Program that inspires pride, kinship and a sense of strength in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander secondary school aged students through a series of dance residencies.

Rekindling’s team work closely with community leaders and Elders to cultivate the sharing of local stories, songs and dance. The students develop performance skills and confidence to create dance performances about their learnings.

Rekindling has been delivered in 25 communities across five states with almost 460 students completing the program.
