Current Partnerships

These are some of the organisations and initiatives we partner with to make positive change together.

Centre for Public Impact

In 2021 Dusseldorp ForumThe Centre for Public Impact,  and Hands Up Mallee began a partnership to explore how stories can be used to more effectively communicate the impact of community-led systems change work.

Community-led place-based initiatives are modelling new ways of working – shifting away from top down, program-focussed approaches towards an approach grounded in systems thinking and community-led innovations.

However, while these stories of change are sitting in communities, they’re often not being told or celebrated. We wanted to understand why this is, and what might be done to better enable these stories to be shared and heard.

Several storytelling initiatives have emerged from this work and are featured below.

Listening to Understand

The seeds of this story were planted in 2021 when we observed that communities were engaged in inspiring systems change work yet so few of their stories were being heard. We wanted to understand why and support them to tell their stories more effectively.

Storytelling for Systems Change

We've partnered with the Centre for Public Impact and Hands Up Mallee to explore how stories can be used to more effectively communicate the impact of community-led systems change work.

Stories are powerful agents of change – they can build empathy, shift mindsets, build connections, and help people to teach and learn.
